Revelation 8:1 says:
“There was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”
But what does half an hour mean—prophetically?
Let’s do the math:
• 1260 days is the prophetic standard for the great tribulation
• 1260 ÷ 24 hours = 52.5 days per hour
• Half an hour = 26.25 days
• Add 3.5 days (from Revelation 11:11—the two witnesses rise)
• Total: 29.75 days of silence—just under a month
This is the pause between the rapture and the wrath.
Heaven holds its breath.
